Chevrolet Caprice 1984 Description
Very, very clean, straight, bare stock time machine with only 53,259 miles!!!! I absolutely love the feel of driving this car, no doubt it feels like a new car with everything working and smelling like new!!.. interior is absolutely showroom quality with OEM floor mats and factory books, zero wear issues, only minor headliner sagging in front (may be fixed professionally before purchasing by interior shop depending on time frame for shop).Engine, transmission and mechanicalsee are excellent, original and free of leaks! A/C is functional but very low on original R12 and should need only a re-charge or convert to R34. OTHERWISE drive this anywhere, anytime (fresh battery and tires!)
Body is great and very, very good considering the age and Iowa! Very solid and very straight no wrecks ever BUT has the usual door bottom rot with hole's on inside (see pics, can be media blasted and fiberglassed to preserve them, still work perfect WITHOUT sagging due to bushings!) Door seals, chrome, fillers and weatherstrip are perfect as well. The car was a garaged car for its life until 2 years ago with 51,550 miles. The frame and suspension is perfect, it did have some "scaling" surface rust on the frame of course.....then I sprayed undercoating after scraping the "scale". I do have before pics to show a super solid frame with still some original black paint! The last body problem is holes on the of inner front wheel wells (common) and holes on the very front of rocker panels, very patch worthy but well hidden below the body lines and inner rockers, fenders and quarter panels are still solid...that''s Iowa for you!!!!
I have more pics available and can take specific pics also for "serious" buyers..
Only selling it because I have a very limited storage space and I have other classics to store.....I would also like to keep my wife and take my kids to Disney World!
This car really needs absolutely ZERO money NEEDED be a cruiser or???Not going "nickel and dime" you like the others and ready for shows or daily driving..
