Note that the 1964 model has a significant improvement to the prior model-years, featuring the first major revision of the suspension, which added a transverse leaf spring as a camber compensator to the swing axle suspension. This makes ’64 a desirable model year for those who like the early model body styling but want the suspension and handling improvements of the later models.
The body had a respray in the late 90s – it looks good overall but shows sign of wear. There are light scratches and scrapes here and there – and there is some significant chipping of the paint on the rear deck lid (trunk) that has been touched up.
The interior is mostly original – with the upholstery showing no rips or tears – with wear that is consistent with an older car with low mileage. Carpeting was replaced about 10 years ago. Dash looks good and all items are functioning. There are lap seat belts fitted to the front seats.
The current convertible white top is very worn and should be replaced. Kit is included.
Car is located in Monrovia, CA – just off the 210 freeway.
We have title in-hand.
