Chevrolet Impala 1966 Description
1966 Impala SS 2 door hardtop
This car has been in my family for 28 years. I am only selling because I have not been able to enjoy it as much as I think it deserves.
This car is an original SS not a clone. I do have the 327 motor and 2-speed Powerglide transmission that was taken out of it and it will be made available to the buyer if they want it. This car has been garage kept since I bought it and has not been driven in the rain since I started working on it. I have over $16,700 in receipts. I also have pictures of the car through the restoration process.
The engine that is currently in the car is a 406 Stroker with Holly aluminum heads. It has 2:10 valves, solid roller rocker cam, Edelbrock intake and carb, custom headers with 2-inch Flowmaster, aluminum racing radiator, oval track power steering
The transmission is a Turbo 400 3 speed with a 2500 stall and a 4:11 posi rear end
Missing a few pieces of chrome, I did recently find the missing piece for the driver's side headlight, so that will be included. Some scratches and a few rock chips. Broken windshield. Some small wear marks or discoloration on interior and headliner needs to be reattached in 2 places in the rear seat area. This car is ready to take for a drive.
This is a fun car to drive. It sounds good and is snappy. It will really turn heads while you are driving down the road.
A $500 nonrefundable deposit is due within 24 hours after the winning bid. This is accepted through Paypal but I will not accept Paypal for the total purchase price of the car. Final payment must be by bank transfer or cash. I do have a clear title and it is ready to go.
Please feel free to ask if you have any questions or if you want more specific pictures.
