Chevrolet C-10 1965 Description
Original 1965 C-10 Custom LWB Pick Up Truck (Yes I know you wished it was a SWB)I have The Original Title and Original Chevrolet Invoice from Doran Chevrolet of Dallas TEXAS.In one of the photos you'll see it in original Barn Dust. I drove it forever like that before I finally broke down washed and polished it. It still shines. The roof is rubbed through. I was going to touch it up My plans were to repair the dents as good as possible without repainting it.Not many left in this condition.Original Paint with dings dents but No Rust ThroughThe original owner installed the Mickey Thompson valve covers. I've got original steel valve covers in the back. This truck was bought new by a Master Plumber and used until 1985. It was parked InSide until I bought several years ago.I had to have it hauled on a Flatbed. The original owner/plumber made the copper upper hose.I replaced the gas tank sending unit brakes rebuilt carburator carrier bearing turn signal actuator shifter bushings new tires. The 3 on The Tree Shifts now smoothly. It used to lock up until we adjusted the shifter and replaced teflon bushings. The motor actually runs good but has lifter tick and leaks everywhere. You can drive it across country today if you keep putting oil in it.Instead of fixing oil leaks my plans have been to rebuild the motor.I've got everything to install period correct underdash A/C unit inside the camper. The wood in the bed is all good because it's had a camper. The inside of the bed is nice too.The camper is in fairly good condition but has a hole in the roof. I've left it on for storage.I pulled my 55 Nomad to Super Chevy Show a year ago (1 hour drive 1 way). It pulled it great and was a Blast. My Nomad had oil sprayed all over the front from the truck leaking. The windshield is Cracked and needs replaced. The seat needs to be recovered. I've got the material but haven't had it re-upholstered.I will be happy to discuss questions about this vehicle or send more photos.I'll take up to a $500. deposit via PayPalThanksTony817-992-eleven hundred
