Chevrolet Corvette 1973 Description
This is a 1973 matching number 454, 4-spd Corvette T-top Coupe. It is all motor, no options. It has an excellent body that looks like it has never been hit, but it does need a new rubber front bumper (about $350). The frame under the car is excellent and has never been welded or rotted. The paint on the car looks okay, but it is weak and will need a paint job down the road. The interior is good. The seats have been recovered, but we can't seem to find the plastic covers for the rear of the seats. The carpeting and door panels have some fray in spots, but they are okay. The car runs strong, but could use a tune up. The clutch and tranny are great and the tires are new. There are some extra exhaust parts included. Headlights and wipers all work, but some of the gauges do not. This is an excellent car with a great body and frame.I owned this car 25 years ago and recently bought it back from the fellow I sold it to and I know he hardly drove it. It is hard to find a matching number big block 4-spd Corvette in any year for this kind of money. It also may be "one of one" with a 454 and a 4-spd and no other options. This was the end of an era and whoever ordered this car ordered it like it was the last dinosaur. Thanks for looking. On Aug-07-16 at 07:23:51 PDT, seller added the following information:I was trying to add a photo of the trim tag, but ebay doesn't seem to allow me to do that. The paint code is 927 dark blue and the interior code is 400 black vinyl. Some of the paint might be original to this car. I hope that answers some of the questions. Thanks
