Chevrolet Corvette 1970 Description

Tidy 1970 Corvette Couple with T-tops offered for sale in the San Francisco Bay area in California USA. This California original car was treated to an extensive restoration a little over 15 years ago by the third owner who put under 1000 miles on it after completion.

The engine is a rebuilt replacement 350CI with a four bolt main claimed to be rated at 419HP. This is mated to a Richmond close ratio five speed transmission with a heavy duty clutch. Suspension components were replaced as required as were wear items in the running gear. All mechanical work performed by LJ's Speed and Machine in Napa CA.It was then stripped down to glass and repainted by AAA Auto Body and Paint in Vacaville CA. The car just had a recent extensive service which included brake work and having the fuel tank lines and sending unit replaced. Tires are brand new.While the project has receipts for around $30000 the car does need some cosmetic help from the new owner. The paint is fine from ten feet away but does not show well under close inspection. There is also some damage to the fiberglass where the car was struck lightly by a truck. Given it needs paint this shouldn't prove much of an issue for the next owner. Interior is complete and in good driver shape. AC compressor is intact but not hooked up to the crank.

Car is fast loud and priced to sell under market. A great entry level classic Corvette that can be driven as is or restored to taste.
