Chevrolet Blazer 1973 Description
Here is a first year of the second generation K5 Blazer with the full convertible top (with roll bar). The truck has the right options from the factory: 350 4-barrel V8 engine, NP205 Transfer case, and a 4-speed manual transmission. This is a running, driving, stoppingproject that needs restoration. The engine is a newer crate engine that was installed at some point, and it has a Holley truck avenger carb 670 CFM on it now. Engine sounds good and has decent power, trans shift well also. The truck currently does not have a rear drive shaft but I'm having a new one fabricated, I've been driving it around front wheel drive . The Blazer was originally light blue with a white top, and tan interior. It was painted all black at some point. The frame isvery solid on this including near the steering area, but it has some typical K5 rust that needs to be addressed. The floors were patched at some point and the rear floor area replaced. outside the rockers need work and the bottom of the doors, lower rear quarter, etc. A couple of the body mounts and rock box area on the passenger need work as well. The doors will need tweaking as well as they don't close perfectly. The glass is all there, and I do have some extra parts that go with it. The Blazer hashigh performanceseats in it now but I have a full set of cloth seats including the rear bench from a later model K5 that go with it. One of the best options is a working in-dash 8 track player with Waylon Jennings in it!! CT does not have titles on classic vehicles but I do have a CT registration and CT Q-1 form to transfer ownership. Reserve is confidential and very reasonable. If you've wanted a fully convertible Blazer project for short money this might be your beast. Like I said it needs fullrestoration but itsgood start for one of the most iconic American 4x4s. I will be adding more pics for you in the next couple of days. Please serious buyers only, international buyers or those with less than 5 ratings within the last 3 years please contact me before bidding. Thanks!
