If you're looking for a nice driver and something you don't have to give an arm a leg and your right big toe for, here's your car.
We picked up this car 6 months or so ago, the paint was old and kind of rough. I had a nice paint job put on it(not concourse, but nice). The door gaps are all pretty good, the paint has been cut and buffed, so no glaring orange peel, some of the chrome is nice and some of it needs some TLC. I am not a corvette know it all so if you have questions please ask and do not assume. The interior is original, the seats are good, the dash is average for its age and could use some love and the carpet is pretty nice but has some sun fading. Under the hood it has a date correct but not numbers matching 350 block with the original matching heads. It runs, drives and shifts very good.
I do have the matching hardtop but it needs two latches. It has also been repainted. There is some rust in the frame but I had a structural engineer look at it and he said it is fine to drive. However, if you would like to change the frame, I do have another frame that has a mustang II front end tack welded to it. It can easily be removed. I would like $2,000 additional for the frame/rolling chassis.
I just took this car on a 7 hour road trip and it drove and rode great!
