After investing $18,000 into customizing, estoration and performance work, his 1972 model C-10 is going to the highest bidder. I shot some video to show-off the engine and paint work. Havea trailer or motorcycles that needs hauling? A classic Chevy truck to handle the job would be icing on the cake!
Classic C-10s are difficult to find in this solid condition, nd the sale prices are climbing for the early models like this one. There is no better time to own a C-10 that is starting to appreciate in value, ust look at Hemmings, agerty and NADA.
This ’72 Chevy C-10 was expertly cared for by experience team of enthusiasts at Family Service Center in San Juan Capistrano, alifornia just recently. It runs fantastic. Drive it daily and enter a car show on the weekend. It can pull the boat or RV, r take the family on a Sunday cruise. How about the perfect way to transport the motorcycle!! Arrive in style in this C-10.
As you can see, any hours of skilled prep and labor went into the beautiful red and silver paint and body work in 2015. The body is super straight, nd even the bumpers looks new. The paint finish feels silky smooth.
Lots of effort also went into the engine and drivetrain to make it super reliable. Now it drives with authority.
It runs through the gears smoothly too thanks to a Turbo Hydra-Matic trans and the powerful Chevy 350 cubic-inch V8, hich was set-up with the two-barrel carb. Lots of new engine parts and components. It needs nothing. Maintains perfect idle and offers plenty of power under throttle.
This C-10 was inspected at Family Service Center in San Juan Capistrano, alifornia. FSC serviced critical cooling hoses, elts, he alternator itself, park plug wires, ngine air filter, ngine oil, nd transmission fluid.
It rides like a 1972 Chevy C-10 should, nd can do whatever work you throw at it, ncluding trips to Home Depot for large sheets of plywood. HECK… the wood bed will protect the sheetmetal against anything you haul!!!
Just look at the undercarriage photos! The suspension remains stock, eaning it was never altered and that makes it desireable for those wanting originality.
It sports dual Flowmasters that add the kind of rumble that turns heads. No need for new tires or custom wheels either. The odometer shows 07751 miles.
These 22-inch Incubus wheels were professionally refinished in black matt paint and now are wrapped with newer high-performance Toyo Proxes tires with lots of tread life remaining.
The interior was treated to custom touches too, ike the Chevy Bowtie door panels with 6x9 speakers to the dash mounted JVC stereo with USB and other high-tech features.
Hand cut wood timbersline the bed to protect it against damage, nd to compliment the custom appearance of the body.
Then new weather stripping was applied to the windows and doors to ensure a quiet, ecure interior. There’s also the lighted front chrome bumper, nd upgraded halogen headlamps.

About Factory Correct Cars offered by BlueChip Motorcars
BlueChip Motorcars periodically offers classic cars that may be listed as Factory Correct, r Numbers Matching. Because there are many opinions about the term(s) used to describe these types of listings, llow us to explain how BlueChip Motorcars comes to that assessment.
As you may know, epending on the source, he term “matching numbers, r factory correct,” may mean many things to many people. Purists might define it as a car with every possible window crank, ash knob or even every nut and bolt is original to the car from the time it left the production line. Although some classic cars do exist in that rare condition, ost do not.
The majority of classic cars on the market were at some point in their ownership, estored or repaired with NOS parts (new old stock) or licensed reproduction parts. Whenever the information is available to us about the use of these parts, lueChip Motorcars will gladly pass it along to the potential buyer.
BlueChip Motorcars uses the term Factory Correct or Numbers Matching only to distinguish a vehicle where the engine casting code corresponds with the VIN and Cowl Tag code. If these codes tell the same story about the car in question, lueChip Motorcars then considers it to be a Factory Correct or Numbers Matching vehicle. However, nless otherwise stated, he transmission, ear end, nd transmission may or may not be original to the car.
BlueChip Motorcars welcomes all potential buyers to verify all the information with a qualified expert. We would be happy to email you all the numbers that are obtainable on any vehicle where the term Factory Correct or Matching Numbers is used.
