Chevrolet Other 1938 Description
Up for sale is a 1938 Chevy two door sedan super fun to drive and can go anywhere reliably. The engine is a Chevy 350 from a 1974 truck. The transmission is a THM 350 with clean fluid and solid shifts. The rear end is a 10 bolt with 3.23 gears. It has a front sub frame out of a nova with disc brakes narrowed 2.5 inches and done very well it actually drives nice and smooth. It has manual steering and brakes and stops just fine. The interior was just completed a few moths ago by R&R in White Bear Lake MN. He installed a new headliner with a more up to date material carpet front and rear door panels as well. The floor and headliner also had sound deadening material installed prior to interior install. He used material to for the door panels that match the front and rear seats exactly. The stereo is a Kenwood double din CD player with Bluetooth Pandora and USB hookup. Also 4 new Kenwood speakers installed. Yes the Bluetooth works the microphone is behind the mirror. I also installed a new billet steering wheel recently. I recently installed a new Holley 600 vacuum secondary electric choke carburetor polished intake manifold new fabricated valve covers and a new HEI distributor as well it runs like a champ. The engine holds 65 psi oil pressure and runs at 180 degrees all day long. The paint is Blitz black and not done to perfection; it looks good from 10 feet but has some orange peel in places when up close. The body is super straight however and is all steel except the front fenders. Thefront and rearbumpers have the turn signals mounted into them and there is a nice metal valance between the bumper and the body. The running boards are metal and made and very solid. This is not a killer show car but you cannot build one like this for what I am asking. Plus you don't have to go through the time and heart ache of building it yourself. This is a great well built car and needs a good home you will not be disappointed. It currently has the Boyd Coddington Smoothie wheels on the car. Front 17x8 and rear 17x9.5 and the tires have 8/32 tread remaining on all four corners. But I will also include theredChevyrally wheels with brand new rear tires to the highest bidder.Requires immediate payment of $500.00 and the remainder within 5 days. Buyerresponsiblefor pick up and transportation I will assist as needed. I have a garage where it can be kept if needed after purchase until picked up.
