Chevrolet Camaro 1970 Description

I purchased this Camaro Z28 Tribute, originally a V-8 Camaro, as you see it today. It has been completely restored and Looks Great, Sounds Excellent and Drives Fantastic. The original color is Classic Copper but is currently finished in Classic White. It has been restored to Z28 specifications with the correct RS Split Bumper nose.Compare all aspects of my tribute to an original Z28 / RS and you’ll see how authentic it really is.The Split Bumper, period correct LT-1 with finned valve covers, dual snorkel air cleaner, solid lifters with a nice thump to it, Winters snowflake intake, 3:73 12 Bolt posi rear, 150 mph Speedo, 8000 rpm Tach, anchored Gas pedal, 15” Rally wheels….it has it all but the trim tag.Everything on the car looks like it grew there.BONUS:the car has a complete Hotchkis Suspension Kit (80017-2 - $3,300 in parts alone) and a Tremec TKO 600 5-speed (with a Hydraulic Clutch). With the Hotchkis kit, the car has a real nice Pro-Touring stance and the Tremec allows you to cruise on the highway at 75 mph at 2000 rpm.Although I do not have specific build information, I do have a stack of receipts that came with the car.You will NOT be disappointed with this car! Buy it and drive it anywhere without any worries.

The engine is a period correct 350 - built to 360hp specs (I have the receipts for engine parts and specs).Engine has solid lifters which were recently adjusted.Engine looks and sounds amazing.Engine has the “Camel Hump” heads which would have been original on an original Z28 as well as the Winters “Snowflake” intake. The CeramicCoated HeadmanHeaders give it the nasty sound. The TKO 600 shifts excellent with the Hydraulic Clutch – the fifth gear works in perfect harmony with the 3:73 posi rear!!

All body panels, floor and trunk pans are in excellent condition and are believed to have been replaced during restoration. Body mounts are new and are Polyurethane. Paint is in excellent condition, with a nice finish – believed to be base/clear.There are three blemishes that keep the paint from being perfect. One tiny (size of pencil eraser) bubble on driver side A pillar, another similar sized bubble below mirror on passenger door and a door ding on lower driver door (looks like it was opened while inside a trailer).I have nothing to hide and am providing pix of the three imperfections.Trunk looks perfect with correct splatter paint and trunk mat (no spare included– which should be an inflatable tire ).

Glass is nice and possibly original. Bumpers areall brand newand chrome trim is nice as well. Wheels are correct and have been repainted. BFG tires are like new. Brakes and exhaust are as well.

Interior is all butperfect!Everything is like new and everything works as it should.Radio is not original but works perfectly.Although the headliner was new when I bought it, I didn’t like the way it fit and replaced it with a completely new one because once the hole is cut out for the dome light, it is not re-useable.It now looks perfect. All gauges/lights work perfectly and no aftermarket gauges are necessary.Even the cigarette lighter works - to keep your cell phonecharged while driving!Seats, console, dash, door panels and carpet are all in excellent condition and the shifter fits perfectly within the console. The shifter sticks up a little more than stock, but it is otherwise impossible to know it is a 5 speed without looking at the shift ball.

There are multiple Second Gen Camaros for sale on eBay at all times.... you'll find them from $20 - $100+. Compare the high dollar Real Deal Z28's to mine and you will see how nicely my carwas done. Please look at all my pictures and the videos in the linksbelow and see how nice this car is. It is a completely original, stock appearing Z28 Tribute with some real nice upgrades. I willNOT sell this car for $25,000 (many have offered)- it is just too nice. I am in no rush to sell and will keep it until the right buyer comes along. I am a private seller and do have some negotiating room, but not much.

Clear Title in Hand.
