Chevrolet Corvette 1971 Description
1971 CorvetteI have too many cars (can you really have too many??) and I am selling my Corvette that I have spent several years and LOTS of money to get it close to showroom appearance as possible. I will list most everything done, ut really it would be easier to list what hasn't.
Paint- as close to a 10 as you could get! Body is straight and paint is the factory color. New weatherstripping on body and top. Bumpers were replated, oor handles, mblems replaced.
Top- New convertible top and weatherstripping.
Interior- New carpet, eats were covered. Door panels are original and has the usual crack on the arm rest, hich you can buy the covers for $75 on Ebay. Dash, isors, tc are original.
Engine- 350 numbers matching and nothing has been done by me except detail it. It runs perfect, added pertronix ignition. New exhaust, ew tires that are correct white walls.
Trans- 4 speed that shifts effortlessly and by the way why would you buy an automatic in a vette???
Lights all work except 1 backup light. Might be the connection or bulb. headlights go up and down perfectly. Wiper door rises slightly when the car is started, ot sure why so I bought a vacuum schematic which you can have if you can figure it out.
Guages- all work, ven the clock!!! AM/FM radio works as well.
Mechanical- Brake lines, oses, alipers and rotors were replaced, long with the Master cylinder and prop valve. Heater and radiator hoses are new. Battery is new with a cutoff switch for storage. Wheel bearings new, omplete exhaust front to chrome tips. Power steering cylinder replaced.
I have the original build sheet, hen the tank and sending unit was replaced the tank sticker was there.
Summary- Completely restored and ready for spring. This is truly a low mileage car with 63,000 miles that spent it's life in Texas until I bought it and brought it to North Carolina. Beautiful car to enjoy and tinker with to perfect even more if you want.
Your buying a used car, have described the good and bad so if in doubt come look or get someone to inspect it for you.
Questions- call me or email and I will discuss anything on the car. 8288083864
