Chevrolet Impala 1961 Description

This car was frame-off on a rotessserie. The restoration took several years to complete. Car has no more than 50 test miles. Drivetrain is 63 ss409 . QB code motor no stroker kit here original crank motor restored to perfection. 409/425 hp. In 1961 there were only 100 409's built. They were defective and production was discontinued, he problem was corrected for the 62 model but the hp. was not the best. The 63 QB code 409 is the legendary motor with 425hp. These motors are becoming very hard to find. It wasrebuilt by J&R machine with very close tolerances. No corners cut andcoupled with the correct t-10 which has been rebuilt and is perfect. The rear is matching 373 posi also professionally rebuilt. Power steering, rakes and seat. This car was done right check the pics and ask any questions. Beautiful paint on a real straight car.
