Chevrolet Caprice 1988 Description
NO RESERVE AUCTION!
You are bidding on a very cool, ood looking and well driving station wagon. It is not a show winner but overall a very nice car for its age. Runs great and engine and transmission sounds and shifts properly. 8 passenger with foldable third seat
154K documented miles. The car is in nice condition and has been well maintained and cared for by myself and her previous owners.
She runs very well, dols, ccelerates and shifts smoothly. The engine is a 5.0L and there are no noises or rattles. The paint looks good and shines nicely. The tires are a matched set and have about 80% remaining tread.
The wood paneling on the side and back of the car is in good shape as well, ith a few flaws that have been touched up (pictured). The interior is very nice, he seats are in very good condition with just one dime size hole in the driver's side lower section (pictured).
The headliner was replaced a few year ago, nd the dash is free of cracks. All power windows, ower locks and power seats work.
I am realistic and I hope that you are as well, o there are a few things that need attention as the car is 28 years old: Air condition needs service. The compressor works and blowing cool at best. Perhaps it needs to be charged for a possible leak. The radio works but it is a little scratchy on the speakers. The cruise control does not work. The rubber front filler panel between the grille and bumper has a couple of cracks in it. The rubber around the windows have dried up and are cracking a bit.
I have a stack of paperwork and receipts dating back many more years than I've had her that will be included with the car along with the original owner's manual in the glove box.
I have it insured on Hagerty for less than $200 per year ($8K value) and in two years, 018 it will be a classic car in the state of Florida with no taxes.
It is really a cool car that brings a lot of attention wherever you go. It's ready to go and I will coordinate with a transporter if the buyer would like.
If you've any questions or if you're local and would like to see her in person, ust shoot me an email.
