Chevrolet Other Pickups 1936 Description
Nicknamed low cab Because of the..low cab and the short windshield. The windshield opens from thebottom for air conditioning ! It actually cranks open. The interiorhas the original brown wrinkle paint still inside, eats are nice and all original.Thistruck would do sixty five mph without shocks or even a pressurized radiator. This was the first 6 cylinder engine that Chevrolet put water jackets in. This is a very rare truck that was only built by Chevrolet for two months . Maybe two thousand original models were made of this truck. Also original to the truck is the perfect working dump mechanismmade byHeil. It is also believed that the box steel is an all original Chevrolet option. This truck has won a lot of shows likethree times it won Syracuse Nationals Designer Dozen nominee 2007, 008, 013 and other shows too. It has been in numerous publications and parades. Very original truck made of all steel, o bondo in truck at all. Even in the back the box has square nuts and bolts. Box measures six by nine by 24 inches the gate is a spreader gate we think to beoriginal with barn like hinges on it.This truck was originally bought at Gault Chevrolet in Hannibal New York. It was bought by a coal contractor who did work for the Nestle Plant in Fulton New York. It is a 6 cylinder truck, 1 12 ton vehicle with a perfectly operating dump and is as sweet as you can see. Beautiful all over and even under the hood it is very clean. If you are looking for a super rare truck that also can be enjoyed for fun or it can be actually used, ere it is. The rear bed has that little added bit of wood over the cab. That is not how it was originally but the owner of this truck did that himself to protect the cab. Remember, his truck has been used on job sites and such. It hasnt been used that much but a few times here and there. Its a handy truck to have around. Like i said not only is it a collectible. How rare is this truck some of you may ask? Well have you seen one lately? no i didnt think so. I doubt there are many of these that survived.
This is one of those deals where the owner wants to sell his vehicle because he is done loving it. It is not being sold because it is a problem or something is going bad. If anyone comes to take a look at this truck they will be very impressed with it and will see that it is just a rightous old truck being up for sale. Owner has taken care of this truck better than his first born. This truck has been cared and loved for many years. The new owner just has to sit back and enjoy it without lifting a finger
