Up for auction I have a 1964 Chevy c-10 side step pick up truck. The truck has a 305 Chevy v-8 engine. The engine runs and sounds great. The truck is currently not running due to the transmission failing, t could be something simple or worst case scenario is that it'll need a new transmission. I have priced out a rebuilt transmission w/the torque converter and they seem to be going for about $300 plus what your mechanic will charge you. My mechanic quoted me $250 to put it in. overall, he car is in pretty good shape and of course it will need a little body work and paint to bring it back to its old glory! If you have any questions please contact me. The truck will have to be towed/shipped and once payment has been made I will make myself very accessible to facilitate shipping of the vehicle. Shipping charges will be buyers responsibility. A $500 deposit/payment will need to be made within 48 hours of winning the auction and the remainding balance within 5 business day of the closing of the auction. The only reason I'm selling this truck is because I find myself short of time and money to do it the time frame my wife would like it to be done in.
