1954 Chevrolet wrecker, 35 Thriftmaster straight 6, -speed manual transmission. Title says 3/4 ton, ruck has been converted to 1 ton dually. It spent its previous life on a wheat farm in Wyoming, here it was kept inside except during wheat harvest time, nd is rust free, he lights, ignals and gauges were all operational when I got the truck a few months ago but the speedometer has since stopped working, he truck runs and drives, nd is being driven daily. This wrecker is fully functional with a hand-crank winch which can be operated beside the truck. I have been driving it the last two months and have towed some salvage cars with it. Wheels are old school chrome plated, ot simulators, hrome plating has some rust showing through. Looks like truck has had one repaint years ago. This truck does have a 12 volt electrical system, have been told that this was the first year for the 12 volt system. The truck starts and runs good, rakes and clutch in good shape. Just had the seat recovered. This truck would make great advertising for a wrecker service! Clear, lean Oklahoma title.
