I really love this car but just wanted to see what kind of interest I would get.
I can’t say enough how great this car runs and drives. It cruises up and down the roads effortlessly and has plenty of power. I love driving this car. It starts right up and runs so smoothly. This is an enthusiasts car in my opinion. This isn’t your run of the mill 80s vette. I want to see someone get this car that will truly appreciate it. It rocks!!!!
Ok so now about the car enough of my rambling. It has a beautiful Pearlescent paint job. I love this color. I once had a Cadillac with a similar paint color. It was repainted in 1995 I believe. I have the receipt for it. It was $2200 and is a very high quality paint job. They did a wonderful job. I love this color and it looks so much better in person than in the pictures. It is 100% Pearl in the pics it looks almost white but it isn’t. Very good looking car. A paint job of this quality in todays $$$ would be much much more.
Interior is in excellent condition. The dash is excellent with no cracks. All the gauges work and the lights work. All the switches work when you switch it to Metric or the other switches that control oil pressure, oolant temperature etc. Windshield wipers work, eater is amazing and will toast you out in a few minutes. The stereo works great and can get pretty loud. Sounds awesome. Power door locks work and the key works both locks too. Turn signals work, eadlights and foglights work. Both headlights go up and down like they should. Electronic releases all work for the rear hatch. There is one in the center console and the passengers door. Driver’s seat is power and works in all positions. Pass. Seat is manual. Horn works too. Interior lights work. Pretty much everything works. Electric side mirrors work too. The leather on the steering wheel is perfect. I have never seen one so nice. It had the steering wheel cover on it when I got it but I removed it because I like the feel of the actual steering wheel.
The engine starts right up and runs strong. Transmission shifts great and smoothly. It runs awesome. Tires are in above average condition. One is near new. Wheels are in excellent condition. Engine is extremely clean and sounds great. It hasn’t leaked any oil or transmission fluid. It has leaked some power steering fluid but since I have been driving it, t has gotten better but I wanted to mention it. I had all fluids checked and topped off recently. Belt was inspected too and it is in good shape. Alternator is new and charges great. Blower resistor was replaced not too long ago also. Blower works on all speeds.
I have had 4 Corvettes previously and this is by far the nicest one I have ever had. It is still tight. Not sloppy and loose like all the ones I have had before. I never knew a Corvette could drive so good. I didn’t have cheap ones before either well with the exception fo my first one. All were nice cars but this one in my opinion was so well maintained. Even if you are just looking at Vettes and not ready to buy this is a great piece of advice I got from a well experience Corvette owner in the local Corvette Club. He said the most expensive Corvette you can buy is a cheap Corvette. I learned this first hand when I bought my first Vette. I bought a cheaper one and the service costs and work it needed quickly exceeded what I could have spent to have a nice one. So I think what he was saying if you get a nice one and maintain it, ake good care of it, t will always hold its value and a low priced one will quickly turn into an expensive one once you start getting it serviced. Anyway take it for what you will but thought I would share bc I still remember that and that was said over 15 years ago. Somethings just stick with me.
This Vette was owned by the same owner since the early 90s. He was in the Corvette club and took great car of this car. They moved to FL and he sold it to his brother in law which is who I got it from. It was in their family since 93 I think. I love Vettes and I got a good deal so I thought why not. Thought I would post it and see. It is very rare to see an 84 in this condition.
I have some extra bonus accessories that I will include with the sale. A pair of sheep skin seat covers that are in fantastic shape. They are for this year Corvette and have the cut out in the back so you can recline the seat or move it forward. I also have a steering wheel cover, ash protector with the Corvette logo on it, over for faceplate on stereo, he targa top tool, riginal owner’s manual, ervice records, tereo manual, xtra set of keys too. I have the ashtray too. I think it goes in the cup holder or something like that.
I have many service records for the car too mostly from the 90s. It is really cool to see the history and the price of parts and service years back. Plus is shows the things that were done to the car over the years. The previous owner switched to Synthetic oil back in the 90s. I thought that was cool. How many people ran synthetic in their cars back then unless they really cared about their car. Put a smile on my face. I guess you can tell I like this car.
Thanks so much for looking and I hope you have a wonderful day!!!!!!!!!!
