If you are looking for one of the nicest Corvair's in the USA you might have just found it!
The Picture shown is the day I purchased it,a far cry to what this auto looks like now!
I purchased it 3 years ago and had the entire body sand blasted,inside, utside the floor roof every body part was brought back to bare metal & both sides of the floor were chemicaly treated so you will never get rot or rust! BTW this auto had ZERO rot or rust except some pitting in the battery box, larks was called and it was replaced pronto!The paint is the original factory color red with a clear coat to march the exact look of the Factory paint.I have spent $5,000.00 originally for this auto and $4500 for the paint and $1500 for the stripping.that totals $11,00.00 so far but it gets a lot better & far from over.This car spent almost a year getting EVERY tiny speck removed and I mean EVERY SPEC and anywhere you look this auto's paint prep is ready to show 1st Place anyrhere EASILY!I am a FANATIC on perfection,I own mercedes SL-600'S 308GTS Ferrarri's,1989 ZR-1, nbsp; 9 other Corvette's starting with a 1957 Fuelie to my wife's 2014 many type 1, nd a couple of type 3 Jaguars.I would say I have a handle on what a nice car should look like and this Corvair you will NEVER find Nicer!This car comes with the Original # engine AND a 180 HP Turbo that looks Brand new!They are apart and fully cleaned from the machins shop here in Daytona, hey are also ready to be put back together.......The turbo has been polished to the MAX and you would swear it was chrome!Now it gets better, have close to $15,000.00 to Clarks (Have every receipt) such as a new seat frame, oam, overs, ugs for inside AND trunk, eadliner, iring harness's, umper guards, uel tank and over $2,000.00 on ALL rubber seals for windos,doors and all body plugs/seals.New radio w/ speaker in Box (Original)SPARE transmission 4 spd AND Rear End that look Brand New inside and out!Tons of spare parts,pistons,rods headsBooks and boxes & boxes of many new partsALL IMMACULATE & CLEAN! Everything has been de greased, lasted and Custom painted all in Factory Colors.
This Auto is ready to be assembled with very little work to be done to it except assembly.
