PRETTY COOL OLD SHORT BOX CHEVY VAN
I CAN HONESTLY SAY I CANT RECALL WHEN THE LAST TIME I SAW ONE
DRIVING AROUND..... MAYBE IN THE 80S ?

The most HONEST PICS available and description. Ive seen other sellers ads
and pics, nd I find it hard to believe people even bid on some cars .
UP FOR AUCTION: this is what we know about the car below.
MILEAGE on the odometer shows aprox 74k could be original
could have rolled over, ot sure it matters, ut the last owner told me that
the motor has less then 20k miles on it along with some performance
upgrades done during the rebuild.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION: the Van has been in AZ for as long as we can track its
history. Minimal rust at best, his is your typical very rust free SURVIVOR VAN
Starts up and runs well. The V8 could be a 350, ot really sure. Its suppose to have
been rebuilt a few yrs ago, cant say for sure. It does have a nice Holley aluminum
intake and 625 afb style carb. THIS IS NOT A RESTORED VAN
You can get it and drive it anywhere, ut it will need tires soon.
Also for some reason to me the BRAKE PEDAL sits really high up, igher then IM use
to, o that may want to be addressed soon. Brakes and PS work well.
Glass is all good too. Paint looks to be original, nd very rough !

DRIVETRAIN:
this van from the factory is a V8 van. Not sure if it was a 3 on the tree maybe
at one time, ut the auto thats in it works well. Just drove it across town the
other day. 350 more then likely, ut not 100% sure. My guess its a TH350 auto
I have pics of the pan below so if you know what to look for you can find out
yourself. PS works fine. A NICE LARGE AUXILIARY cooler has been added to the
system, y guess its for the transmission. You can see it behind the grill.

INTERIOR:
the interior is Az weathered, ut not totally beaten up. It is pretty
sparce. 2 bucket seats, ome old carpet and a rear bench out back.
POP OUR REAR WINDOW OPTION pretty cool. Slider 3dr door works ok
Sometimes you have to help it latch with a extra push. Front seats
will need covers or recovering soon. Dash just old and original. There
is what looks to be like a CD Player mounted in the dash, ve never
tried to use it.

EXTERIOR:
Paint looks to be the original Gold, hich is in really bad shape.
Dont see any evidence of any previous accidents, amage bondo or
rust repair. Body is 95% rust free, loors are the same. Its a VERY SOLID
RARE 40 yr old Short Base Van that you rarely see anymore on the road.
Outside has a few bumps and dents, ut pretty minor for a survivor like
this one. REMINDS me of the old GOOD TIMES Vans back in the 70s....except
they where longer. Both front doors and rear doors work fine. Dr side
window will need new rollers soon or maybe a regulator.

SUSPENSION: basically bone stock suspension the best I can tell
Im sure most of the bushings are dry out, ut being a minimal rust car
it would come apart easier then a rust bucket and making the repairs
and restoration in its future again, ore attractive. Goes down the road
fine. Just drove it across town the other day on a 10 mile trip with
no issues.

who really knows what sort of shape its in. Dont find out
the hard and $$ way. At least our auctions show as much

Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain and Az very dry climate.
