1949 Chevrolet Deluxe 4 door "fastback" sedan in original condition needing restoration. Solid Texas car 99% bone stock with only minor rust in the rear quarters. Floors appear to be solid the drive train appears to be the original in-line six cylinder engine with the three speed column shift manual transmission and the paint appears to be the original paint!!! The car could easily be restored into it's original condition. The car also could be made into a low rider "bomb" or a street rod a resto-rod depending on what you want to do. Rarely do you find a complete car this age that does not have three layers of paint/primer hiding the true condition of the car. Is it perfect? No but I am not looking for "perfect" money either.Please look at the photos and feel free to ask about any concerns you might have. Cool car waiting for the right guy to take it to the next level.I might consider another hot rod/rat rod project in trade up or down. I really want the market to reflect the value of the car that is why I put it up for auction. Will I miss my mortgage payment if the car does not sell? No but I am not married to the car either.
