Chevrolet C-10 1970 Description
NO RESERVE. Truck will sell on ebay to the highest bidder. If you have zero feedback, lease contact me before bidding. I'm offering up another truck from my collection. This is a heavily optioned K10. Looking to sell off a few of my vehicles in order to obtain a new property. This will be a lengthy description with over 90 pictures. I will try to list everything replaced/done with this truck. I found this truck in Eastern Washington through word of mouth. I bought it from a Gentleman that owns a Hops Farm. He had begun the restoration by rebuilding the original engine from top to bottom and stripping the truck down to a bare cab in preparation for rust repair in the rockers. He found an all original 72 Blazer and then decided to sell the truck to me. I was not really looking for another classic but, fter seeing it, knew I had to have it. This is one of the heaviest optioned 67-72 4x4's I have ever owned. A/C, ower steering, ower brakes, oldings, ood bed, argo light, learance lights etc. It really is a special truck and was incredibly solid being from Eastern Washington. SPID and blue door sticker are intact. Almost all of these trucks need rockers at the very least. First thing I did was send it to my body/paint guy. He replaced the rockers and repainted those areas as well as the entire floor. I took pictures of the floors with the carpet out so, ou can see how clean they are. This truck is rust free and rock solid. Cab supports, ab corners, ender cups, ailgate, oor bottoms, oof and rain gutters are rock solid. The radio has not been cut out either. I decided not to paint the truck as it has only been repainted once in its original color a long time ago. It is faded but, really like the patina look and it is presentable. You just do not find them with this look. I replaced the inner fenders and battery tray. All front sheetmetal was assembled with new hardware. The truck has a new NOS GM grille, ew cab mounts, ew exhaust, ody moldings, eather seals front and rear from Precision and a new windshield, ew door handles, ew arm rest, ew dodge dakota style door weather strips (superior to the glue on stlye). New carpet, ew gauge cluster with tachometer and full gauges, ew carpet, odern classic style radio with IPOD and USB hookup hidden in glove box, ew speaker, ew comfort grip steering wheel, ill plates, inch lift kit, hocks, /C fully gone through and blows ICE COLD! Door panels and dash pad are the originals. I'm sure there is much much more. I'm missing. Engine is the original 350 and was completely rebuilt by the previous owner. It has a mild cam, barrel aluminum intake and Edelbrock Carb. Also has a pertronix ignition conversion. Runs strong and sound mean. New dual exhaust from the headers all the way back. Less than 500 miles since the build. Has the skinny 33 inch BFG tires and stock steel wheels with hard to find hub caps that complete the look. This truck is not a show queen but, solid driver. It is barely broken in. This truck rides, rakes and drives like a 45 year old truck. This is before cup holders for your Pumpkin Spice Latte and a mirror to fix your make up. Made when trucks were really trucks. I did replace every single lightbulb in the whole truck but, he dash lights do not work at night. I was told it is the rheostat in the headlight switch so, ordered a new one that will come with the truck when it comes in. This truck originally came with saddle tanks. I knew this would be a Weekend cruiser for me, o I decided not to install them. Sometimes you have to tap the shift lever up when trying to start because if it sags down the neutral safety switch engages. Those are the only issues I can think of. I have sold three trucks in the past 6 months here on ebay. 2 of them were my personal trucks and one belonged to a friend. I have received positive feedback on each as I'm willing to do whatever it take to make you happy with your purchase. I will help your shipper load and can help find a shipper if need be. I figure shipping would run between $600-$1200 depending where you are. Clear title in my name. I'm really looking to down size and buy a property I'm after. That being said, f you are local or willing to ship to me, have a soft spot for 55-62 Chevys and 64/65 Chevelles.
