Beautiful southern short bed Chevy truck with no rust! I am the second owner and purchased it from the original owners in Georgia. The truck has been well maintained with a great running replacement GM Goodwrench 292 ci I-6 engine. Three speed manual transmission on the column shifts well. The radio does not work. The wood bed has plywood bolted on top of it, ut looks pretty good and can be used. The interior was recently repainted and reupholstered. The manual choke has been disabled and an electric choke has been installed. This summer it has had newly installed distributor cap & rotor, ires, lugs, uel filter, ntake gaskets and carburetor rebuild. The brakes feel great, ven though it has front and rear drums. Transmission pinion seal leaks. High beams do not come one when dimmer switch is depressed. It's a really great driver that turns heads everywhere it goes. Make no mistake this thing is a REAL truck; it has no power steering, o power brakes, o power windows, o power locks, tc - SO it is a BLAST to drive! This is NOT a show truck. The paint is in nice shape, ut definitely needs polished and waxed. The original color was pea green body with a yellow top. The current color was applied by the original owner, nd I am told it is a 1997 Honda Civic color.
