ECU-tuning is done via GM E67 ECU tuned in house at Speed Inc using HP tuners.I have enabled the flex fuel option that uses a sensor in real time to determine the amount of alcohol in the fuel and automatically makes fuel and timing adjustments as needed:what this means is you can put either 93 octane in or E85 and make no changes to the tune,much like a new flex-fuel car
fuel system:Has intake dual Aeromotive 340 pumps,second pump is activated by a hobbs switch.Also uses and Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator and stock LSA injectors
Has a 4" suspension lift installed by previous owner,steering is tight and tracks straight down the road.Front and rear differentials are stock units and work well,rear is a posi unit
Tires and in good shape and I would rate them at 70% tread remaining,they are 33x12.5x15"
Body:Ultra clean zero rust,truck was originally a southwestern truck before going to Oregon and finally to me in Illinois,has never seen adverse weather .I have replaced all the carpets throughout the truck and under the carpet were pristine floor pans.All original metal throughout the truck,even the common problem areas such as the tail gate,the are behind the gate and the rocker panels are all perfect with zero rust.The truck has had one repaint and it is what I would consider driver quality,the hood and roof are baked from the southwestern sun,but the rest I wet sanded and buffed and it cleaned up well.
Interior:The interior is basically stock and in good shape for its age,seats are nice no rips or tears.The counsel is nice and work, the carpet in the front half has been replace and the rear has been replaced with a nice quality vinyl floor that matches the color of the front and is formed to the body for a factory fit,Fully loaded power locks and windows,rear window goes up and down with either the interior switch or the key in the tail gate.Has an aftermarket stereo installed that is MP3 compatible all factory speakers still workDash has a few small cracks from the southern sun
has a premium topper with sliding rear windows that will be reinstalled upon sale it is grey in color and also in very good shape
This was sold to me as a low mile 80k original truck,I cannot verify this however there are aspects of it that make me believe that this is true
overall this truck is a blast to drive will shred the 33" tires in a cloud of tire smoke,shocks the hell out of people and has the sounds to match.Reason for selling is that I am building a house this fall and the money could be better spent
