Chevrolet Impala 1963 Description

Up for auction is a 1963 Chevrolet Bel Air series custom made 4 doorsuicide sedan. Owned since 199, his Chevy underwent a complete transformation, ith the body, ngine, nd drive train.

This car features new floor boards, ody mounts, nd a frame that has been completely reinforced, y welding, and blasting, nd being repainted. This car has an eye catching 8 year old paint job done by a professional. Colors are orange with a pure white top. There are only a fewsmall scratchesin this paint job. 2 in the passenger side rear quarter, nd one chip where the passenger door and fender meet. (see photos)

This car is completely rust free with a very solid trunk that has refinished with spray in bed liner. The Chevy features a rear mounted battery, ith kill switch. All chrome is in very good condition, long with some custom made stainless pieces that have been fitted exactlyto allow the suicide door conversion. All trim pieces were taken off the car, hen polished and some evenreplaced from rust free vehicles. All anodizedtrim has been hand hammered, iled, nd polished. Badges, cripts and moldings are straight and intact.TheBel Air style tail lamps have been upgraded to the Impala style, ut still keeping true to the Bel Air's trade mark 2 lenses per side for '63.

The interior has been fitted with newly recoveredImpala pattern buckets with custom made door panels to match factory style. This car has a new headliner, ew factory style seat belts, nd new black carpeting.

This car is equipped with a newly rebuilt 350 bored 60 over, ull roller, hat has around 10,000 miles on it. Driven locally to car shows and cruises. This car turns heads wherever it goes and cruises along nicely and comfortably. When needed italso has a lot of power. Never pushed, r raced, his can surely perform when its asked to do so.

New steering linkage, owered suspension, ewfront disk brake conversion kit, SD style ignition, eader back dual 2 1/2 in aluminized exhaust system, nd a professionally rebuilt '92 700 R4 automatic transmission.

This car has a solid center support driveshaft, ith slip yok installed in back half from a two piece drive shaft. It has a GM 10 bolt rear end with 410gears that allows it cruise along nicely at highway speeds.

New Tires on factory styled 14 inch rims with dog dish wheel covers. Good glass all around, he doors open and shut beautifully, omenew weather-stripping.

There are a few things that need to be finished up on the car. These include:

Fixing the fuel gage, nstalling the interior kick panels and metal grates, inishing the wiring for the wipers, nstalling the interior emblems on door panels, nstalling the chrome seat trim pieces on buckets, t could alsouse a full lock set, emp sensor for the electric cooling fan needs to be replaced, nd the clock does not work in the instrument cluster.
