"In 1966 the Caprice was dropped from the Impala series to become its own line. The Impala was still the biggest seller even though the Caprice was now the most the top model. The Impala was a more deluxe Chevrolet with a color accented full length body side molding on the body flare peak. It had front and rear wheel opening moldings, right body sills, mpala front fender nameplates and emblems, right back window accents, eck lid molding with color accent, elt moldings, ack up lights in the rear bumper, riple unit wraparound rear taillights, nd hood windsplit molding. The interiors had plusher cloth and vinyl seats."

For sale by the long time owner is this mostly original 1966 Impala Station Wagon. The body, aint and interior appear to be original and in good condition. The original engine is long gone and has been replaced by an early 70's 350 V-8 and it has a Turbo 350 automatic transmission.Nicely equipped with powers steering, ower brakes, ower back window and factory air conditioning. The lights, ignals, auges, ipers, heater are fully operational and it runs and drives terrific. This is a true survivor that is now ready for a new owner.
