Chevrolet Nova 1970 Description
You are bidding on a 1970 Chevrolet Nova SS Recreation with NOS Baldwin Motion parts. I have owned this vehicle for over 15 years and it has had a total of four owners from what I was told when I purchased the vehicle. It is currently titled and tagged as an antique vehicle in Pennsylvania. I have a clear Pennsylvania title and can transfer the plate to a Pennsylvania buyer if they wish to keep titled as an antique. This 1970 Nova SS is painted in Cranberry Red using a DuPont Centari with a clear mixed in prior to painting. It comes with a Chevrolet 350 block motor matched to a Chevrolet 350 transmission. The rear end is a stock 10 bolt open rear/non locking. The transmission was fitted with a mild shift kit that can grab 2nd gear. The 350 engine was fitted with a mild cam. Jet Hot coated Hooker headers flowing into a custom bent dual exhaust that exits to the side above the rear tires cut flush with the body line. chrome Edlebrock valve covers. Edlebrock 4 barrel carb. chrome air cleaner. aluminum radiator fan. new belts and hoses. chrome engine accessory parts. Edlebrock aluminum intake and HEI ignition with electric choke. The 350 engine was rebuilt to run the modern day unleaded fuels. The brakes have the original four wheel drum brakes all around with all new parts. The springs and shocks were replaced and there is air shocks for the rear. All body bushings and mounts were replaced with new parts. The tires are BF Goodrich Radials M+S P205/70R14. The exterior of the vehicle has all NOS chrome emblems and new re manufactured chrome bumpers. The vehicle was completely taken down to the frame for restoration and I do have all of the restoration photos as well as original build receipts that come with the purchase. The interior has been outfitted with a new black headliner. new vinyl bucket and bench seats. new original style black carpet and new door panels. The stock radio has been removed and replaced with a working Pioneer Super Tuner cassette radio. All of the glass in the vehicle is original GM glass including the windshield. The vehicle is equipped with an NOS Baldwin Motion front spoiler painted to match the body color and an NOS Baldwin Motion fiberglass one piece hood. These parts were available back in the day from Baldwin Motion out of New York for owners who wanted to dress up their vehicles as real Baldwin Motion cars. The fiberglass hood uses chrome hood pins and non-spring hinges. This vehicle has won many local car show events as well has been entered and won numerous ISCA International Show Car Association awards. This vehicle makes for a great cruiser or a great starting point for someone to outfit with a big block and some additional upgrades and go racing. Please contact me with any questions prior to the auction close as I will respond promptly. I have set the reserve at a fair price considering the condition and looking at other examples that have been listed on Ebay during the last several months. Please only serious bidders as these auctions do cost the sellers money and time; and if you have zero Feedback you will be cancelled unless you contact me first. Good luck and Happy Bidding!
