Schroeder Motors is very proud to offer this lovely little 1951 Chevrolet,...or as my Grandfather said it,...."Chivy"

First,...let me just say that I would drive this car everyday,...all day and in total confidence. It's wonderfully smooth,...tight and can easily be counted on for any length road trip. Take a run down Rt. 66 if you want,...it's terrific running, riding and driving....you get a real sense that it's Safe & Reliable with your 1st time behind the wheel.

The Exterior.

Really good lookin' from all perspectives. The paint shows nice reflections,..the brightwork is nice and the chrome bumpers and grill work has been refinished to a nice degree.

The painted wheels are nice,...the bottle caps are nice and the Radial Tires are 85% tread remaining.

The Chivy sits square on the road,...it's has nice curb appeal and overall a very nice driver.

Now,...please notice the trunk lid,..I've pointed out some minor scratches in the deck lid itself. They're hard to see unless you're looking for them. Anyone walking past it in a car show would most likely not pick up on them,....but you should be aware that they are there.

This is not a perfect fresh restoration,...but a very nice, super clean and solid Deluxe that will impress all that see it.

The Interior.

Nice and tidy inside. An older restoration that sits well,...it's comfortable and clean. The headliner is tight,...the interior ornament trim has a nice shine quality,...and the rugs are clean too.

Overall,...a nice place to sit,...and it's comfortable.

The Mechanicals.

Excellent motor,...excellent clutch,...excellent transmission. She runs like a watch. No odd noises,..no odd smells,...just a terrific running little car.

The heat will keep you warm,..the wipers are now electric and the fuse box has been updated for problem free electricals.

The Undercarriage.

Nice and solid,..no soft spots,..all natural....good bones as they say.

The Final Word.

These '49 to '52 Chevys are enjoying a healthy return to Collector Status again....we've seen the prices go up at Mecum year after year....we don't think the move is over yet.

This is a very enjoyable car to look at,...to drive and it should be considered a wise investment going forward.
