Chevrolet Chevelle 1970 Description
Im selling my 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle. Ive owned the car for a long time and put countless hours and money into it. The paint is 16 years. Its still very glassy and clean. but there are a few rust bubbles and dings here and there. All in all I give it an 8. The vynal top is nice and the interior is in great condition. The engine was built by Biddel racing in NY. As was the M-21 4-spd. The rear is a complete Moser rear 12 bolt. 390 gears Auburn posi. c-clip eliminators. Hotchkis and comp engineering shocks. I have the largest tire I could fit in the rear 295x60 MT. The fronts are skinneys MT. ( Also have brand new BF Goodrich radials on new rims to go on the front. see in picture). Front disc brakes. stainless brake lines. The engine is a 396 (1966) block and heads bored 30 over and comp cams roller cam thumper series. Everything that went into the drivetrain is documented and pictures were taken as it was built. All receipts are in the very large binder as is the original build sheet. Also the original 350 block and heads that came with the car go with the car. There is so much more to tell about this car. I don't think I have enough room on this page. Theres even a 4" Painted cowl hood that goes with the car. The NOS bottle is just for show. but the line does run up to the engine compartment. The engine has very low miles and runs like an ANIMAL! Painless wiring all new. original floors small patch on drivers side. Again Its a 16 year old paint. I bought this car as it looks still today. very nice. Im sure I left a lot of things out. but fell free to e-mail me anytime. I would like cash upon pick up. please. Thankyou and good luck bidding. I must make this very clear. no expense has been spared to build this car. Every nut and bolt replaced. everything in entire car with the exception of the body and frame is new. The engine cost me $6500. 00 to build the 4-spd another$2000. 00 with the 11" center force clutch and shatterproof bellhousing. Sure the cars not perfect. but up close it looks great. Its a driver and a weekend strip car if you like. 3" exhaust just finished fully welded. Hooker super comp 2" primarys . aluminum be cool radiator. holley 780 carb. Also a snug fit car cover. The car is always in a heated garage next to my truck. When you drive it you will be hooked! I have photos of the engine building process. not to mention over10000. 00 dollars in receipts. NOW the things that do not work are the radio. back-up lights. wipers not hooked up (new wiper assembly and motor). was A/C car no heater core or controls. horn not hooked up. but is there. This is a summer time beat the shit out of strip or street car! The headlights work. signals. high low beams. speedo. tach. water. oil. volt gauges all work. interior lights work when doors are opened. dash lights work. gauges light up. running lights work. and gas gauge. nbsp;what more do you need?
