We will start off with the exterior of the Bel Air. When you walk around it you will see the panels are straight with good gaps. Everything is covered in a two tone paint scheme of Red and Cream that is base/clear coat. It has been buffed and polished to a deep rich shine. The stainless is all good and lines up well. At the time of the resto all the weather stripping was replaced as well as the seals around the glass. The bumpers were replaced as well as other chrome. To finish off the exterior look it’s sitting on a new set of 18” and 20” American Racing wheels and tires.
Next, e will take a look at the interior of the ’55. On the inside it’s done in the factory style with vinyl seats and cloth inserts. All the vinyl is red with the cloth being tan. The column is a Chrome Tilt with a custom wheel. The dash and trim is painted red to match the exterior. Also when you look at the dash it has a set of new custom gauges and a vintage radio. The stainless bows on the headliner look like new. As a whole the interior is very neat and clean.
Finally, e will take a look at the heartbeat of the Chevy. Under the hood it has a new 350 Crate Engine that’s dressed with a Polished Intake and valve covers. A new Aluminum radiator was installed to keep it cool. The exhaust flows through new stainless headers and new dual exhaust. The trans is a turbo automatic. This ’55 also has a new wiring harness from front to back along with new Vintage Heat and AC. It don’t stop there, s it has a 605 Box to give it Power Steering and yes it Four Wheel Power Disc Brakes. When you look under this ’55 it all appears to be a frame off resto with a new one piece floor pans and body braces. It has a new fuel tank and lines as well.
