The 1990 model year finished the lowest production third generation Camaro to date (35,048)

This year was the first year for an airbag to be offered in any F-body. The new airbag came alone with a new "half-moon" gauge cluster, that was offered only in 1990-1992 Camaros.It has it's original, great running 3.1 L V6. This one has power locks but manual seats (original) and windows.

I bought from a man who owned it for twelve years. He bought it as a father/son project in 2005 but he and his son never got around to completing it.The previous owner told me:

he had the four speed automatic transmission rebuilt but I have no proof of that.

he had new dual exhaust installed but I have no proof of that.

he purchased the matching Cooper Cobras on it brand new. They are still very nice.

I have installed new rear polyurethane sway bar bushings, new rear shocks and new hatch lifts.

I have owned it since February of this year and it has made several 150+ mile round trips with no issues. It's a twenty-seven year old sports car with superficial flaws but mechanically it's a solid old car. It has a crack in the windshield (doesn't impair vision)needs the driver's interior door handle replaced (I have one new in the package and it's included), the headlight switch needs replaced (it's stuck on high beams) and the re-paint is flaking off though the body seems very solid. I see no rust through of the body.It has spent at least the fifteen years within about a ten mile radius of it's current location and we're not a rusty area. If you want to pin me down I'll call it 95% + rust free. It was clean, dry and solid when I was underneath installing shocks and bushings.
