Chevrolet Blazer 1972 Description

I've decided to part ways with this 1972 Chevrolet Blazer cst 4x4. This is a running driving 1st generation Blazer that could be driven the way it is with some new tires and a little more tinkering or would be a great candidate for a restoration. I'll do my best to describe this truck. The body has the typical 45 year old Blazer rust. It needs rocker panels, floor patches up front, drivers side rocker box, the normal. From what I can see from the outside, the fenders appear to be good, the windshield frame looks to be rust free, the doors are fixable, the hood is good other than the hood pins someone drilled. I replaced the tailgate with a rust free dent free gate. I also added a new woodgrain tailgate banner. I have a new upper center tailgate trim, outer clips, and taillight bezels that go along with the truck. The top is a nice single wall top that doesn't have any real damage to speak of, nor does the hatch. They of course need refinished to be perfect. The single wall tops are the good ones and are getting tough to find. All hatch and top hardeware is present. The engine is a 350 4bbl 4 bolt model. I don't know if it's original to this truck or not but according to the casting numbers, it could be. It runs very good. I was told when I bought the truck that the engine hadn't seen many miles. I've just added a new 1406 edelbrock electric choke carb, new HEI distributor, plugs, wires, air cleaner, hoses, belts, fluids, thermostat, pretty much everything it needed to make it rite. Also a new battery and cables. It does need a correct 72' throttle and kick down mount. It was missing altogether, I bought a Mr. Gasket universal mount, it works but it's not rite. The original seats and mounts are all present. The seatbelts front and back are in real nice shape, there was no center console so I've included a nice crack free seatbelt console with the truck. The leveling mats and carpet strips are included, also the tire carrier is there and the side panel brackets and a few other parts are in a bag in the back. Unfortunately the radio hole didn't survive the CD player era, the SPID is still in place in the glovebox, the horn works, heater blower works, brakes work, the power steering pump I'm thinking will need changed. There are 72' rally wheels on the truck as you can see. The sun visors are also in place.Overall most everything's there. It surprisingly drives pretty darn well considering. This is a project truck, don't expect to be winning car shows with this thing haha. It deserves to be brought back to it's former glory. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Please don't bid on this truck unless you intend to buy it! You are not bidding to decide later if you want it. If you want to make an offer feel free. It comes with a clean clear notarized title. All vin numbers match. I sell most of these way before the auctions end. This is a no reserve auction so again, bid to own.Buyer is responsible for any and all shipping costs. I'm happy to assist in loading onto a car hauler and whatever you choose. Thanks for looking and have a great day.
