| I have decided to list my 1953 Chevy 5 window 3800 Shop Truck. It has a fuel injected LS 5.3 with a 4L60E automatic transmission running on a stand alone harness and computer, custom exhaust runs through Flowmasters and out under the running boards, The truck is sitting on a later model S10 chassis with correct off set wheels (no spacers), power steering and power brakes it starts and runs fantastic with lots of power! The truck has many newer parts, the new radiator was installed when the LS swap was done a little over 1,200 miles ago along with the aftermarket gauges. All the gauges work including the fuel level, temp, amp and oil psi. The truck has upgraded electric wipers with new arms and blades, LED turn signals front and rear, new inner and outer door seals, the seat has recently been recovered with a faux leather, Bear Claw latch conversion done and also has a Lokar Shifter. The cab floor has all been covered with dynamat material however I have not gotten a chance to put carpet in it yet. The windshield and back glass was installed new with new rubber about 6 months ago along with door glass, the corner glasses and wing glasses are original. The outside of the truck has been painted, made to look patina and has been clear coated, Custom Chevrolet Logos and striping hand painted professionally by Dan Keys @ Rat Rod Ranch after, cab corners have been replaced and look good, the rest of the body has many dents and dings all over with several older repaires showing through. Inside bed has been plated with sheet metal and Rhino lined, the access to the fuel cell is in the back portion of the bed. The truck has an era correct original Folton visor (not china repop) The truck was built to be a driver more then a show truck, its been a great shop truck for us, this truck is super reliable with the LS and later model chassis, gets tons of attention everywhere it goes. It does have many squeaks and rattles as you would expect out of a 64 year old truck. The ol truck isn't perfect so don't expect it to be, but it is reliable. I would not be afraid to drive this truck anywhere, If you win this truck drive it home!
