Chevrolet C-10 1968 Description
My apologies to anyone who bid on this item. Ebay wouldn't let me put my reserve price in the ad so after 11 or so tries it should be taken care of and all should be go to go thank you and I'm sorry for the inconvenience, Eric
1968 Chevy Truck Short Bed. Factory SWB - Excellent Frame (9.9 out of 10) very minor pitting
DRIVETRAIN: 350 engine from a 1977 motor home with matching TH400 Trans. 50,000 miles 4 bolt main, Edelbrock 650 carb, runs great. No driveshaft, Original rear end. Tires have life left but old and I would replace them to daily drive
POWERCOATED: Frame, Cross-members, Trailing arms (all new grade 8 bolts used in assembly)
SUSPENSION: NEW- ball joints, shocks, coil springs Front and Rear, Heavy Front Sway bar, All Bushings
BRAKES: NEW Disk Brake conversion kit (front), Brake master cylinder, Stainless Steel Brake Lines
OTHER NEW STUFF: Fuel pump, Starter, Alternator (1 wire), Water pump, Fan, Radiator and formable Hoses, Fuel Tank conversion to rear with Aluminum Fuel Line, Fuel Sending unit, Thermostat, Gaskets-oil pan, valve cover, timing cover. All Steering parts. Power Steering Gear. Cab Mounts, Core Support Mounts, Headers, Transmission Lines, Heater core and Heater control face plate and cables, Kick panel vent doors and black plastic kick panels
NEW BODY PANELS: Front Fenders, Inner Fenders, RR Fender, New Bed, (Installed stuff) Rocker Panels, Kick Panel, Floor extensions (partial), Floor Supports (partial). Cab Corners (partial)
Aluminum Centerline Rims (from the 70’s) the tires are good but used. Lug nuts all New
Fuel Tank Relocated to rear. Mounted and finished. Aluminum fuel line to front.
Doors from a 72,were mocked to the cab to install rockers. You can repair them but I intended to get new ones, quicker
Core Support had very small repair, blasted and painted. Grille pieces are good
Cab was media blasted, Doors are not yet blasted, ½ Gal of paint left (urethane) reducer and activator
NEEDED PARTS: Driveshaft, Exhaust finish, Rear Brake Shoes and Springs, Emergency Brake cables, Rubber Seals for Cab and Windshield, Seat Reupholstered (unless you like maroon), Windshield, Steering rag joint, Sun Visors, Bolt kit for front sheet metal, lights, carpet
You can finish this truck for approx. 2000 to 5000, it depends on what route you want to take. Example: I got the wiring harness $0.00 new one 300.00 to 600.00
I have a lot of time in this truck. I built it for myself and now myself doesn’t have anymore money. 10,000 was the budget. I think I listed everything. I reserve the right to end auction anytime. Truck sold as is
Thanks, Eric
