Underdash Air conditioning Unit and Heater: AC Compressor is installed but not hooked up to pulley. I have not had a chance to change over from heat to AC (The cab heater block is controlled by to ball valves in the engine compartment, and must be manipulated manually to start/stop flow from the engine block into the underdash unit. AC system has a separate radiator with independent electric cooling fan that can be used as a backup to the mechanical fan during stop-go traffic.
Radiator replaced in 2016, oversized to support heat output of the 383 and the AC Unit.
RedTop Ultima Battery
New Power steering hydraulic lines and Pump
New Alternator/Water Pump/AC Comp
New Headliner Re-upholstered Front Bench Seat in black Vinyl 2016. Rear seat has a popped seam, original Leather. New Carpet & Pad with added Sound/Heat Insulation between pad and body. Seat Belts/Front Seat Mounts all new Grade 8 Hardware.
Under Dash Electrical Inv. w/ 110V Outlet and USB.
Original Chrome Solid Steel Bumpers Front/Rear in Excellent Shape ---------
Things you should know before you contact me: -The body is covered in Black Primer. There are rust spots on the vehicle. I have not bothered to fix these because frankly I am terrible at body work. I replaced the hood with a steel salvage hood that I found at a Junk yard.
The wiring harness is new, but "custom"... I bought a generic prebuilt harness for the rebuild.
Rear end sits low. I have never bothered to correct this because to me the vehicle handles better that way.
Mechanical speedometer is not hooked up--There is a dash mounted GPS enabled speedometer installed.
I added an electric Fuel Gauge, Tachometer, and Vacuum Gauge
Sending Unit is brand new! But it is the wrong length, and gives an empty indication even though there is +20plus gallons left in the tank.
**This was my first car. I bought it in 2009 from an estate sale in Kaneohe, HI. I brought it to Charleston circa 2012 (still has the Hawaii Safety Inspection Stickers). I tell you this to say that I know this car well, and can answer just about any question you might have about it. It's loud; its fast; exactly what you expect.
