Chevrolet C-10 1969 Description
~ 1969 Chevy C10 - All Original LWB 250 I6 3 Speed - No Reserve! ~Up for sale is my all original unmolested 1969 Chevy C10. This truck is a true 2 owner survivor truck with 65,xxx original miles! These 67-72 C10 trucks are getting very hard to find, especially in all original condition! It is a factory lwb, 250ci inline 6 cylinder, 3 speed manual column shift. The paint is all original, it has not been sprayed and shows awesome patina! Since I bought the truck, I have installed a 4/6" lowering kit and factory 6 lug Chevy steel wheels with center caps, and new interior carpet. I have done absolutely noting to the truck cosmetically! What you see is almost 50 years of natural patina. You cannot fake or recreate that! For the most part, the truck is solid. It has typical rusty areas in the rocker panels and a small place in both of the cab corners as well as the floor pans. If you wanted to "rust free truck", I wouldrecommend replacing those. The bed is very solid; it is the original steel floor with no rust holes. It does have some surface rust and minor pitting but nothing terrible. The frame is rust free and straight. Mechanically, the truck actually runs drives and stops very well. It does have a slight lifter tap under a heavy load, but it has been this way for years so I have not worried about it. Good clutch and the transmission shifts smoothly through all gears. The front end is tight. No play in the steering box and it does not pull left or right. No power steering and drum brakes all around. The windows roll up and down smoothly, both doors shut with easy and all body panels line up as they should. No signs of the truck ever being wrecked, etc. All lights and the heater does work (the heatercontrol panel is missing but you can see work the heater). All gauges work except for the fuel gauge (the wire is broke at the sending unit). This C10 in particular would be the perfect candidate forshot bed conversion or an LS swap or some type of V8 swap. I bought the truck with intentions of doing a 5.3/4l60e swap but other projects have taken priority at this point. However, if I do not sell it soon, I have a full swap ready to go in. This truck is super cool andconstantly gets attention. Overall, this would make a perfect weekend cruiser or just a build as you go toy. Iabsolutely love the truck and hate to see it go. I hope the new owner enjoys it as much as I have. Clean and clear Tennessee title ready to go. I'm offering her forsale with a noreserve! Highest bidder will own the truck! Please, if you intend to bid, make sure that you have intentions of following through! Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. Thanks for looking and good luck!
