Chevrolet Impala 1960 Description
I WANTED TO TAKE MORE PICTURES BECAUSE THERE IS SO MUCH TO LOOK AT, BUT FOR SOME REASON THIS ALL I COULD DOWN LOA, BUT I DONE MY BEST TO COVER THE IMPORTANT PARTS. first let me say i have had several of these old cars and this is just about the most original one i have ever had. this is a one owner bought new feb.25 1960 in morristown tenn. the man who had it passed away in 1987 and thats the last time it was ever tagged. he always kept it in the dry and you can see by looking it's almost rust free. the rust you see on the fenders is due to the family parking it in a shed and leaving a portion of the front clip exposed to the weather you can tell that by looking at how the paint varies in color back to the doors . from the sun. it is the original paint, even though the fenders took a little hit . it did not get into the radiator supports or anything else even the bumper looks great, the hood is perfect, the floors are solid, the trunk is solid the trunk gutters are perfect, around the doors are solid, even the door weather stripping looks almost new, the back seat is good, but the front seat needs recovered, not all of it just the cloth the vyinl is in good shap, all the door panels look great, the steering wheel is extra great there's not a crack in it no where. the trunk lid is perfect, around the tail light area speaks for it's self the back bumper is good all the trim is in good shape there is a bent spot on a pieace near the back driver side panel there is a palm size dent there. on the passenger side rear panel behind the back wheel was a small spot of rust i removed but as you can see thats an easy fix because the inner panel is in great shape. all the glass is perfect it's not even cloudy any where, the trunk still has the card board fillers in it. it is not running at the time the motor does turn freel, the brakes are not working at this tim, i just got on a trade i have no intentions of restoring it but i know somebody out there is freaking out because you don't find these cars in this kind of shape often, i mean it has all the original panels paint, interior, and matching numbers 283 one owner, i even have the original title, i could go on and on about how great i think she i, but you can make up your mind on your on . just look at her. ant she great. i reserve the right to end this auction early due to local selling, if you have a low feed back or selling number forget it i'll i want deal with you sorry. there is a 500.00 deposite due 24 hours after auction it is nonrefundable if you don't like that either don't bid .and if you don't send it in 24 hours she will be back up for auction, everyone know's this fun but hey it's serious t, and if your not serious don't waste peoples time. trades are welcome you can give me a call, i will except offer, but i want tell you the reserv, thats not fare to everyone else . thank so much for looking my name is DAVE my number is 423-526-5266. feel free to call me........I FORGOT TO MENTION THAT EVERYTHING WORK, LIGHTS, TURN SIGNAL, TAIL LIGHTS, INTERIOR LIGHS, DASH LIGHTS, HEATER, HORN, WIPERS, AND THE MILEAGE IS 91000. It Was running when it was parked so it should be easily put back on its feet with a good tune up and fresh gas all I have tried so far is making sure it want stuck the radiator still has antifreeze in it and it it looks good but I'm not going to guarantee anything if I get it running the price goes up all I can do is describe what I was told from the family that had it all those years...
