Chevrolet Corvair 1963 Description

This is a 53 year old car. If your expecting perfect look somewhere else. I bought this car from a mechanic that rebuilt the motor and did some mechanical work on it. He was in Lake Havasu and I bought it and had it transported to Salt Lake City. It had some rear axle issues and I replaced both of them at around a thousand dollars. It ran rough when I got it and I was worried and then I had my mechanic there tune it up. The elevation was almost 5 thousand feet and then I moved to the desert in Palm Springs area. It is in need of tuning for the elevation you would live in. I would not drive it a long distance, round town it is fine. Like all corvairs it leaks oil. The interior is in decent shape minus a broken passenger door handle inside and some tears in the driver seat. The seals between the window and where they meet the convertible are not sealing well. I have the convertible cover for when it is folded up and I also have a car cover. My reserve is set low. NO OUT OF COUNTRY BIDDERS. Only serious bidders. You buy be prepared to deposit and pay and have it transported by the end of the month. I have to have it moved by then.
