Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 1956 Description
After much debate I have decided to part with my 1956 Chevy Nomad. In the last year I have spent $20k on it alone. It's a great daily driver with low miles and runs very smooth. I have every receipt on the car for the upgrades I have completed and I will list them all. It has a 350motor with about 3,800 miles with a Automatic 700R4 Transmission. Colors are 1982 Cadillac in Light and Dark Redwood, Looks stunning with non-stop compliments. The List of everything completed in the last year: New manifold gaskets, rebuilt 4 barrel, all new filters, oil and fluids, new belts, hoses, new alternator and battery. Gas tank flushed, new fuel filters, fuel pump. Rebuilt 700R4 Transmission with torque converter (only 700 miles on trans), flywheel assembly, starter assembly, Brand new Tilt steering column, indicator assembly, gear shift linkage kit for a total cost of $4,569.00. Brand New BF Goodrich T/A's with about 100 miles on them on Brand New Foose Knuckle 17 inch chrome wheels (about $2,000). Car stops on a dime as I just had a complete go through on the whole braking system at a cost of $2,463.00. AlsoI had it professionally aligned and car drives completely straight. Brand new 500 series steering box, master cylinder and other misc parts at a cost of $3,084.00. J&S gear installed a new Grand National Rear End 3.73:1 ratio, posi traction, cost $2,550.00. Undercarriage and suspension are excellent and super clean. Just had a new Wool headliner with insulation completed at Bill Dunn interiors and added 3 point seat belts at a cost of $3,382.00. Added new Power window kit, radio, kick panels, alarm, door ignition kit, professionally tinted windows all the way around at another $2,000+. The car truly runs great and is very smooth. It was acid dipped many years ago and paint shines brilliantly, Chrome is in great shape all around. Interior was completed many years ago by Leon Jones interiors and has 64 Chevelle seats. Steering wheel was imported from France to match interior.I'm sure I'm missing a few things but if you're looking for a fun daily driver that you can actually drive now then this is it. Nothing hidden, no surprises, not my style!
