Custom Pro-Touring 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Convertible

Selling my pro-touring build 1970 custom Chevrolet Chevelle Convertible. This chevy was an originally California built car (highly desirable VIN) and is fully documented (polaroids and all) up to even the original dealer sale is 1969. The car has been immaculately maintained and recently completed a $100k+ rotisserie resto-mod restoration. The laser straight car was built to blend cruising comfort with legitimate race performance and would not be on the market had my personal situation not changed. Car was stripped down to the frame, urpose built from the studs up, nd finished in a semi-gloss (with original SS style stripes in gloss) black paint.

Car sounds, ooks, nd drives incredibly with the low and far back aluminum 427 stroker (hand-built by a legendary California engine builder) making an beautifully useable and linear 650 horsepower (on standard pump gas) sitting on a fully built suspension and forged race wheels/pilot super sport rubber. The car turns more heads than any supercar i’ve ever seen/owned and is not only just as fast but definitely more fun to drive. It has been professionally maintained and currently sits in a temperature and humidity monitored garage in west Los Angeles, alifornia and only has about 500 miles on the completed build (which may change slightly as it gets driven every other week or so).


Exterior:

-Semi-gloss black with stripes and various components in triple clear gloss

-Brand new custom black top and roof fitting with anti glare, v, tc. fitted window

-All new SS markers, ezels, nd clear led signals

-Dual DLC black bullett style mirrors and rearview

-New seals, illet door strikers, ardware, eatherstripping, elts, tc.

-Hotchkis billet hood pins and leashes with full billet hood hinges

-Shaved handles with keyless button (and hidden mechanical) pneumatic opening doors

-Black HID style (with LED halo) headlights and taillights

-Custom hand-built black 18”/19” Fiske profile13 forged race wheels on super sticky 265/295 Michelin Pilot Super Sports


Interior:

-Custom fit carbon fiber style gauge tray and full carbon Autometer gauges (Speedo, ach, uel, il pressure, ater temp, attery) and LED signal, rake, nd fuel indicators

-Custom leather center console with transmission map, lip lid storage box, nd cup holders

-Alpine full bluetooth audio & MP3 head unit (with iPod/iPhone aux adaptors, andora, icrophone) with 4 6x9 speakers with a flagship JVL trunk mounted amplifier/sub

-Pristine full leather interior with billet door buttons, ocks, nd finishings

-Alcantara Sparco race wheel (with adjustable hub), ully adjustable Clayton Machining billet pedals, layton adjustable trussed shifter, nd dual bracket rubber boot

-Black leather Corbeau reclining race seats (on full sliders) with padded 4 point Corbeau harnesses

-Full dynomat liner throughout and all new custom carpeting


Drivetrain:

-Barely broken in blueprinted and balanced all aluminum 427 Stroker (Custom built by Joe Sherman) with AFR 227 CNC heads, olid roller cam, emon 850, delrbrock manifolds, nd full Eddie racing billet serpentine belt system (Dyno’d at 600 torque and 652 horsepower with full cats and on pump gas)

-Becool radiator with dual race fans, ight weight ultima battery, nd

-Built Tremec TKO 5-speed with ceramic race clutch and adjustable tri-axe short throw

-Ceramic hook headers, ustom X-pipe, nd dual magna flow mufflers

-Eaton posi-traction rear with LPW Ultimate 12 bolt and Strange axles


Suspension:

-Forged precision full rack and pinion steering with race ratio steering box

-QA1 fully adjustable race coil-overs

-Hotchkis boxed rear control arms and sway bars

-Global West race forged tubular full a-arms, ushings, nd race springs

-Baer 14” cross-drilled 6 piston pro plus front and 2 piston rear disk brakes 14”


* May negotiate but you couldn’t come close to building this car for that number and I watched a couple lower tier pro-touring 70 Chevelle Convertible builds at Barrett Jackson last month go for around north of $120k


** Primarily looking to sell it but may consider a trade on something interesting (McLaren, T3, 06 +cash, tc.)
