Chevrolet C-10 1965 Description
First off let me say this is a very nice truck for the price. You cannot build something like this for what I'm asking. It is a very solid running and driving truck that I would drive anywhere at anytime. Has many nice features to it. This will be a joy to anybody that owns it as it is just a cool piece.
1965 Chevy C10 original short bed
Drivetrain:
Strong running SBC 350 backed with a nice Muncie four speed manual trans. Motor has a nice lumpy cam with headers and dual 3 inch exhaust dumped out each side. Sounds very good and turns peoples heads! Also has a strong Holley street avenger four barrel carb, street dominator intake, and new radiator.
Suspension:
Has been lowered a tad with nice coil springs that give it a great ride. Springs were not cut the cheap way, were bought newfor the height wanted.
Interior:
Interior is very nice. Has a cow hide seat that the ladys love! That's all us guys goals is to please our ladies am I right? Nice carpet, auto meter gauges that all work, tilt wheel, Switches for lights, wipers etc all work. Hurst floor shifter for trans.
Body/Exterior:
The body is one of, if not the best parts of this truck. There is no rusted out panels/parts anywhere. All four cab supports are solid. They did a very good job on this truck and it shows. However it is not a full blown show truck, more of a very cool rat rod style piece. Paint is a nice smooth white with a hint of rustic look put into it. Has a nice smooth red on the cab that was done very well. Has red accents on wheels, Chevrolet lettering, and has red under glow for night driving. To cap it off, the bed is fully refurbished that has a very nice wood floor in it. Tail gate works, etc.
Frame/underneath:
Very clean, frame and parts underneath have been coated at one point. This was a very good restoration with coolness in mind, and once again no rust.
Wheels/tires:
Really nice red and chrome steelies with whitewall tires. Plenty of tread left on them
I absolutely love this truck and how it drives/sounds/looks. You take this to a show and will get everyones attention and be a conversation piece. It's just way cool I think personally and for a lot of others. It will have a bigger group around it than a fully original restored 65 asking three times more money and that makes me smile. Anyone who is interested and comes and looks at this will have to have it especially after cranking it up. The title is clean and a NC title. The price is cash OBO I have some room to work with fellow truck enthusiasts the best I can. But I ask to just please be respectful with offers. Like I said you cannot build this for what I'm asking. Many thousands off I will not entertain. I will also be more than happy to work with anyone travelling, etc and can give my number out through request for better communication.
I'm looking to sell outright mainly to go buy something else but will look at trades. Please be smart with trade offers. i.e. if the value is less than mine please have cash to add with it. If trading I will go down or even, not wanting to go up, but will look. I really like old Chevrolet trucks anything pre like 1988 is for me. Especially 1980's square bodies. But really anything classic being a car or whatever.
