this beautifully 1978 silver anniversary edition corvette coupe has had a complete drive train rebuild with all the very best parts I could find from the best companies that sell restoration parts for the discriminating car lover. the motor was resealed the heads were rebuilt and new cam shaft . lifters . water pump . uel pump. new carburetor . lternator . distributor all new wires and plugs. the transmission was completely rebuilt with new top of the line parts and a reman converter was installed too. the rear differential was rebuilt with all new bearings and seals . he clutches for the posi traction were replaced too. all drive shafts ujoints as well as the axle u joints were replaced using only spicer brand. the rear calipers . rotors and pads both rear and front are new . the suspension bushings front and rear are new and the car was 4 wheel aligned . the tires are new . this car is mechanically sound as there is nothing more to do other than it does need to be painted as the car is showing small cracks in the original paint . a lot of people paint there cars and than worry about the mechanical part but I did that first because I did not want to be stranded any were. the car still looks great and drives fantastic runs super . ou can enjoy the drive with out the worry of break down.
