Chevrolet C-10 1963 Description
1963 Chevy C10 SWB StepsideUp for your consideration is this very cool '63 C10 that gets the looks and thumbs up any time I take it out for a spin. It's powered by a small block chevy 350 CI, 4 bbl carb, and backed by a manual 4 speed transmission. The truck fires right up and drives great. No engine smoke and no leaks. The engine has a great sound, a little on the louder side, and sounds as though it has a mild cam upgrade. Also has the cool "Rams Horn" exhaust manifolds and classic dog dish Chevy hubcaps. It'll take off and roll some tire smoke without much effort. Previous owner c-notched the rear to lower the truck and shortened the coils in the front. Power steering, power brakes, and new radial tires make it easy and fun to drive.
The patina is awesome and just needs a coat of clear to seal it all in. Overall, the truck is very solid and has great "bones". The rust that is present gives the old truck character. Both front fenders have some rust on the rear lower area (typical). Driver's side cab corner has some rust as does the drivers side floor. Bed walls, rear fenders, tailgate, doors, front inner fenders, and engine compartment are all solid. Hood, roof, and drip rails all solid as well. Even the interior has a cool patina to it. All the glass is in great shape.
This will be a great buy for the person who loves these old Chevy shortbed's that have a great patina and hot rod attitude. I've really enjoyed the truck but have too many at the moment and need to thin the herd.
I do my best to describe the vehicle as accurately as possible. I'm a believer in the old saying "a picture is worth a thousand words", so, if there's something you wantto see that isn't in the pictures please let me know and I can take the photo youwant and email it to you. Keep in mind that this is a 54 year old truck that is driver quality and not a Barrett Jackson "show truck" (Obviously, HaHa). It's a perfect candidate to build on to make it your own or it could be driven and enjoyed for years to come just as it is now. It would also make a great promotional shop truck for a business. Anyway, there's lots that can be done with it and it'd be cool no matter what you chose to do.
Please ask any questions prior to bidding and have funds in place. I reserve the right to end the auction at anytime for any reason. Buyer is responsible for shipping arrangements and costs but I am more than happy to help on my end to make sure all goes smoothly with your shipper. Although the truck runs and drives great it is 54 years old, that being said I recommend having the car shipped as opposed to flying in and driving it any great distance. Truck isbeing sold AS IS with no warranties expressed or implied. I am willing to end the auction early if a fair price is agreed upon by both me and the buyer. NOLOWBALLERS !! I'm motivated to sell the truck, but not desperate. The reserve is set very fair. I'm willing to talk with serious buyers on the phone ... simply email me your phone number and I will give you a call. The winning bidder is required to pay the $500 non-refundable deposit via PayPal within 24 hours of the end of the auction. Again, please ask any questionsbefore bidding.
Good Luck !!
