Chevrolet Camaro 1987 Description
I own a restoration shop and this is a car I am selling for a customer. It is a two owner 1987 Camaro IROC Z 28 20th anniversary convertible. The currentowner bought it when it had 10,000 miles on it and has put another 9,000 miles on it in the last 12 years. It has the 5.0 Tuned Port Injection engine with a manual 5 speed transmission. It is still the factory paint but there are several dings in the hood and deck and a couple on the sides where it had been stored for a few years. Always a west coast car, there is no rust to mention. Spotless California metal. The interior is near perfect with the only flaw being two cracks on top of theleft door panel. No cracks in the dash and no visible wear in the seats or carpeting. It still has the factory floor mats. The manual convertible top works perfectly but has three minor blems as seenin one of the photos. I just took off the original tires last week because of their age. The car runs and drives like you think it would with this low a mileage. Perfect. There were about 740 IROC convertiblesmade in 1987. How many black out, red in with manual transmission has got to be a low number. To see and drive the car, or if you have any questions call Bruce or Skyler at 916-652-6852 weekdays. We are about 18 miles east of Sacramento off highway 80 going towards Reno, NevadaOn Mar-29-17 at 18:08:55 PDT, seller added the following information:I had a Camaro expert at the shop today to look at the car. He informed me that the interior is leather and there are several things about this car that make it unusual. The colors, the IROCZ28 with a 5.0 engine and manual transmission and the overall virginity of the car. All the hoses and clamps are factory. The trunk should electrically suck down and close like a Cadillac and it doesn't. (I will look in to that tomorrow). Avery unmolested car. Thank you Neil.
