Chevrolet Camaro 1972 Description
~$22,900 I reserve the right to end the auction early as the car will be advertised locally for the same price. I can be reached at (6l9)..889...957Nine....~This is a beautiful 1972 Chevrolet Camaro SS! Real SS, not a clone. 100% bone stock and original. Picture the little old lady from Pasadena car. Matching #'s 350 V8, turbo 350 transmission, Ice cold factory Ac, power steering and power disc brakes. Sold new in California and has remained a west coast car its entire life. 100% Rust free and still retaining all of its original body panels. Its never seen a day of snow or a salty road in its life! Very dry car. 2 owners with 117,000 original miles. I have all of the original dealer books, paperwork and Protecto plate. Very nicely documented.
~The body is excellent! Super straight with no accidents or previous body work. Its finished in its original color Gulf green. Its had one repaint about 20 years ago because it was faded. Shows very well and shines up nicely but not flawless. A few minor chips and scratches. I would leave it exactly as is. The undercarriage is spotless! No rust, No scaling, No patching, No undercoating crap, just nice and original. Just like it was when it left the factory. The truck is also completely rust free with most of its original speckle paint.
~The interior for being original is nearly perfectly preserved. The original am radio still works. All of the glass is excellent and window roll up and down nicely. Seats, door panels, carpet, headliner are all perfect. The gauges are nice and bright. Everything works as it should.
~Mechanically she fires right up with no smoke, leaks, or funny noises. Drive exactly as a 1972 Camaro should. Steering is tight, brakes are good, transmission shifts nice and crisp. No over heating. Has plenty of power! I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. Its a true joy to drive! Its getting very difficult to find nice old, rust free 2nd generation Camaro's that that haven't been hot rodded out or messed with these days. This car is the way you like to find'em! Its a very honest Camaro with nothing to hide.
