Chevrolet Blazer 1992 Description
Please schedule to see vehicle before "Buy It Now". The deposit is non-refundable unless you see vehicle within 24 hours. I sell a few vehicles a year here and ask the same of all my vehicle auctions because it best serves both parties. I am listing this truck for $1160. That price is FIRM is as low as I am willing to sell this good running vehicle because after all the fees, I am only putting a little over $1000 in my pocket. It has very LOW MILES for a 1992. Starts right up every time. Engine runs well and starts right up even on coldest night after sitting for a week. Transmission shift well. Has a brand new $700 FULL exhaust system put in 11 months ago. Four wheel drive (4X4) system and transaxel works great and goes from 2 wheel 2WD to 4 wheel high 4WDH to 4 wheel low drive 4WDL without even the slightest drama. Vehicle has tow hitch with electric trailer plug for both types of trailer plugs. This truck was used as my part time weekend landscaping business (usually only 1 day a week). Vehicle has faded paint on hood. Paint looks good on other areas. There is 5 small rust spots on the body which are as follows: 2 small rust spots on rear door, 1 on each rear quarter panel, and 1 on each front quarter panel. Very little body work is needed if you wanted to get a new paint job on the body. There are some small dings on the passenger side while driver side looks good. The rear bumper has a couple rust holes and chrome is peeling over 1/3 of the bumper surface. Front bumper has some rust but no holes but has a small bend on driver side. There is quite a few K5 at my local salvage yard so getting any glass and the bumper would not be an issue. They wanted $40 for a used front bumper and $37 for rear bumper which were both in real nice shape. But both existing bumpers would not need to be replaced for state inspection because they are still intact and present so safety issue. Frame is straight and rust repairs have been made. Blazer has no accidents in the last 7 years that I have been using this truck. I am not aware of any previous accidents either. Vehicle is a great WORK truck with low miles. All wheel flares are in good shape. Interior is in good condition and there is a couple stains on it but you could rug shampoo all of them out. The head liner is in good shape (which is rare for Chevy trucks). No tears in seats, front or back. There is only a little bit of wear on seats. The door skins are in good shape. The carpet in rear storage area is stained but the same salvage yard had K5 with real nice factory rear carpet for $20. The truck does not have a stereo. Power seats, power locks, and power windows all work. All turn signals, headlights, reverse light work. Air condition worked well last summer. Issues that will need to be fixed to get state inspection are as follows: Crack on front windshield ($70 used), needs replacement glass on rear window ($10 used), one tire is worn ($79 new). If you want to make it a family truck, all it would need are the following OPTIONAL items at salvage yard: 2 used bumper $77, used rear carpet $20, and a Maaco $399 paint job, you would have a very nice looking K5 Blazer. Lastly, I have been asked this 4 times, the small hole on front right fender was for a kill switch that use to be on truck. Call me at 410-340-9813 if you have any questions.
