Chevrolet Corvette 1967 Description
This 1967 Chevy Corvette was a complete frame off rotisserie restoration that has just 2 test miles on it at the moment. It combines killer timeless styling with a huge modern motor for what is certainly an exhilarating thrill ride.
The body, which was taken down to bare fiberglass, sports a gorgeous 2-stage paint job over excellent new body work. You'll find all of the body rubber to be new from front to rear, as well as all new glass with the exception of the quarter windows which are in very good shape. The windshield trim is all new as is all of the chrome on the outside of the car. The black soft top is fresh as well.
The beautifully finished body sits on a stripped and refinished chassis with all new F41 suspension parts from front to rear. The undercarriage is detailed to the nines and without any road use, it's still clean as a whistle. Bringing this sweet Vette to a stop is a set of Wilwood disc brake fed by a power master cylinder set up.
The engine is a rip roaring monster, but despite its power potential, Edelbrock reported fuel economy in the range of 19 MPG in a test Chevelle that the motor was first tested in. Pretty impressive for 555 CI! Obviously, MPG is probably not of paramount interest in this application and you are probably more interested in the power. How about a claimed 676 HP (reported as more by some) and a crushing 649 ft. lbs? The set up uses a Dart Big M block, Mahle pistons, a Scat crank and rods, Edelbrock cam, and Edelbrock FI intake. The motor is 10:1 compression, so it's 91 octane friendly. They run nice and cool, and this one holds temp nicely with the Be Cool radiator with dual Spal fans.
Spinning the accessories is a billet March frontrunner kit, all polished out and running a modern A/C setup and power steering. The engine exhales through a set of Hooker headers and classic side pipes.
