This is a highly optioned, ighly detailed, how quality, numbers-matching, rame-off restored Impala Super Sport. It wears desirable (and correct for this car) "916" code Daytona Blue Poly paint, with factory medium blue bucket/console interior. You will be hard-pressed to find a nicer, ore highly optioned Impala SS in this price range. Everything on this car is either new, r restored back to new. It comes with 2 sets of wheels--the 17x8 & 17x9 American Racing deep inset chrome 5-spokes with Nitto Z-rated tires (less than 50 miles on them), s well as a complete set of 5 color-keyed steel wheels, hite wall radials, nd gorgeous Super Sport wheel covers.
This car is loaded with factory options, ncluding 4 speed transmission, /C, power steering, ower brakes, ARE tilt wheel, inted glass all around, padded dash, nd deluxe seat belts. It has the original factory dash-mounted tach in good working order. Power comes from the numbers-matching 327/300hp V8. The car starts, dles, nd runs & drives very well, nd shifts through all 4 gears with ease. Lights, urn signals, wipers, nd horn all work as they should. Little things like proper spare, ack, nd glass windshield washer bottle are in place.
Paint and body are in outstanding condition, s the pics will attest. All body panels appear to be originals, ncluding the quarters, loors, nd trunk pan. All chrome and stainless trim is new or excellent/restored original, ncluding both bumpers and polished aluminum inserts. Floors, frame, nd trunk are all super solid throughout the car. Engine compartment is restored to factory showroom new. Factory original style exhaust is like new.
Interior is as close to showroom new as you'll find. Every piece is new or restored from headliner to carpet. Upholstery is mint, nd a set of modern-style seat belts replace the originals. Comes with a complete set of "Impala" logo black floor mats (not pictured). Doors, ood, nd trunk all open and close beautifully. The swirled body side molding is perfect, ith no ugly dents, ings, r other noticeable flaws. All windows are in good shape and roll up and down just as they should.
Unlike most others selling classics on ebay, e try to inform you of a car's flaws, egardless of how minor. It's the right thing to do, nd gives you the piece of mind knowing you aren't being sold one thing, nd then receiving something materially different. Keep in mind all classic cars have flaws, o matter how nice or expensive they are. Also remember we may not be aware of every possible issue, o a personal inspection is highly suggested. The AC is currently not working, ut appears complete. The radio also is inop. There is a small "sometimes" leak where the driveshaft meets the rear differential--Sometimes it drips a bit, ther times it doesn't. It probably just needs to be driven more, s the car was restored by the previous owner several years ago and only had a few hundred miles put on it since then. We can have the occasionally offending seal replaced prior to delivery for nominal additional cost if so desired. There is a pencil-eraser sized paint flaw (not chip) on the hood, nd a small flaw (not chips) on the forward edge of each door--all are minor and unnoticeable from more than a couple feet away.
You can feel confident this numbers-matching Impala SS is a "what you see is what you get" kind of car. It has many desirable options, nd a 4 speed with excellent colors, aint, ody, nd interior. I doubt you'll find another that is this nice, ith these options for less money. Ready for shows, ruise nights, nd taking the kids/grandkids/friends/family or nosy neighbors out for a drive back in time.
