Chevrolet Corvette 1982 Description
Nice survivor 1982 Corvette Collector's Edition w/ 63K miles, ooks very nice and runs and drives but it has been off the road for at least 4 years so a fluid change including probably the gas as well as a tune up is due. Please do not think that you can just fly in and drive this home, he car will need a few weekends before it is ready for any long runs.First off this in very nice original shape and I have the original window sticker, wner's manual, actory service manual for the 1982 Corvette and original 1982 dealer brochure as well as a stack of receipts. It comes with a bra as you can see in the picture as well as some minorextra parts as well as the original floor mats. Again this is driver quality and is in very nice shape but not museum qualityhowever with a little love and care this could easily be brought up to the next level. Looks to have a stainless exhaust and the underside of the car is excellent, s good as you'll see on a 1982 Corvette. T-tops are excellent and it comes with the security cargo cover (attaches correctly, ome of the pictures I noticed it was unsecured on one side). Car starts right up and drives fine though the furthest I drove it is around my block. It has a leak from atransmission hose in the front so Ihaven't ventured far with it. Still gets looks like it's an exoticsuper car when I drive it slowly around my neighborhood.
That being said, eep in mind this is a vintage Corvette it will have some issues. As stated the transmission has a oil line leak near the radiator but the transmission engages drive and reverse with no problems. In addition the parking release is broken, he power locks do not work, he right front tire over a period of time will go flat, he right side seat has a small patch missing, he tachometer doesn't seem to want to work, he release for the hatch only pops one side, he headlights do not want to go down, river side door panel is a little buggered up (pictured). All pretty minor but figure on doing a little tweaking to make her right again. The body has only a couple imperfections on the hood where it looks like someone shut the hood while something was still in the engine bay. They are not big but will need to be fixed and are pictured.
In all this is a very nice addition to any collection. There will be some work to be done but that has to be expected of a car of this vintage that has been gatheringdust for a long time.
Finally, he title is clear but it was signed over to a person that is now deceased. I bought this from his widow, er phone number I still have if needed. So plan on some extra paperwork to obtain the title as every DMV is different on what they need in this sort of instance.
Please email me any questions and I will be glad to assist.
