Chevrolet El Camino 1959 Description
You are bidding on a 1959 El Camino. This car/truck is equipped with factory air V8, optional drivers fender mirror and 3 on the tree. I am not sure of the original miles on the Truck but the odometer says 19034. The body is very straight with some rust issues. The truck is currently in AZ. What i know about the truck is that it has spent most of its life in TEXAS. It was used in parades for a small town. I believe it was last registered in 1984 in Texas. I found the truck next to a barn with pieces of an old tarp on it. The tarp had been on it for some time and must have caused the rust in the weird spots for a typical 59. The roof has rust mostly on the under side of the chrome trim. I do have a great donor roof and back window panel as showed in the picture. All of the chrome trim is there and is in really good shape. The interior is also very complete with all door handles, arm rests and window cranks. The truck has not started for a few years now and will need a restoration. The good about this car.The floor in the bed is straight with very little rust.(welded plates for the parade mount)The quarter panels are in really good straight shape with hardly any rust. The front fenders are in really good shape with no major rust issuesThe doors are not rusting out on the bottom(some minor rust issues where they meet the cab at the top.The tailgate is solid with no major rust issuesThe wings are straight and have no major rust issues.Factory AIRThis is a very complete and straight carALL of the trim is thereThe car is really straight and all there. No need to have to hunt down parts like trim pieces
The bad.The roof has rust along with the back window panel. I do have a good donor that come with it.The floor is pretty rotten as seen in the pictures.I do not believe it is the stock block. The passengers door is dented in but still opens.( I Believe the dent can be pushed back out)

I can also email you more pictures. I probably have 30 more picture showing more details and under side photos showing how good and solid the bed and quarter panels are. This car has been untouched for years and has no gray primer hiding anything.
